Description:
The management of various ophthalmologic conditions is evolving rapidly, bringing new opportunities for eye care clinicians to improve outcomes including in patients with complex cases. The iFOCUS conferences are a forum for Ophthalmologists to come together to learn the latest in medical technology, guidelines, and enhance their use of diagnostic tools and treatment strategies for patients. This group meet once a month and in April, 3 ophthalmologists will be addressing cataract surgery, Corneoscleral Grafting, and Vitreomacular traction syndrome respectively.

Learning Objectives
Series-Level Learning Objectives:
1. Discuss interesting clinical and surgical case presentations to improve recognition of ophthalmic conditions and their treatment strategies.
2. Review ophthalmic manifestations of systemic diseases.
3. Apply new and emerging medical and surgical therapies in ophthalmology.
Session-Level Learning Objectives:
1. Consider differential diagnosis alternatives for vitreomacular traction (VMT).
2. Appraise the role of different imaging modalities for an accurate diagnosis.
3. Determine workup and treatment options for vitreomacular traction (VMT).
4. Discuss special intra-operative and post-operative considerations in large diameter keratoplasty.
5. Identify pre and intra operative risk factors associated with cataract surgery in patients with pseudoexfoliation.
6. Discuss the tools and techniques available to reduce the likelihood of complications in cataract surgery.
7. Recognize and provide timely interventions for post operative cataract surgery complications.
