This presentation focuses on how systems of care can facilitate and improve a patients outcomes, experiences, and ensure there is health equity for all who suffer from stroke. The course includes a review of clinical and imaging criteria for thrombectomy after ischemic stroke as well as best practice treatment recommendations.

Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, learners should be able to:
1. Review clinical and imaging criteria for mechanical thrombectomy after ischemic stroke.
2. Discuss components of a stroke system of care and describe how these systems of care can facilitate and improve the stroke patient experience.
3. Evaluate impact of team dynamics, choice of anesthesia, and other factors that impact stroke outcomes.
