Neurologist, Sutter West Bay Medical Group - Mills-Peninsula Medical Center - California Pacific Medical Center

Dr. Barazangi received her medical degree and Ph.D. in neurophysiology at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her Neurology residency and fellowship in Neurocritical Care and Vascular Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco, is board certified in Neurology, Vascular Neurology, and Neurocritical Care, and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Neurology, Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. She has been an integral part of the Sutter California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) and the Mills-Peninsula Medical Center (MPMC) Stroke Programs over the last 13 years, as the Medical Director for Stroke/Neurocritical Care Research for CPMC and later all Sutter Bay Hospitals since 2012, and the Medical Director for Stroke at CPMC since 2021.  Dr. Barazangi has held several roles as a physician leader across Sutter including being appointed the Deputy Medical Director of the Sutter Neuroscience Service Line for Clinical Information Management.
