Fabio Settecase, MD, MSc, FRCPC
Dr. Settecase is an Interventional Neuroradiologist / NeuroInterventional Surgeon at Sutter CPMC and MPMC, with specialized expertise in the minimally invasive treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, including stroke, cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, arterial stenosis, and pulsatile tinnitus. He also has expertise in image-guided spine procedures for relieving neck and low back pain.
Dr. Settecase completed his Interventional Neuroradiology fellowship as well as Diagnostic Radiology Residency at UCSF. He was elected Chief Resident and received the RSNA Resident /Fellow Research Award. He completed his internship and Master of Science degree at the University of Toronto. He graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Medicine.
He is a member of the Editorial Board for Interventional Neuroradiology (Official Journal of the World Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology), the Neuroradiology Examination Board for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and is the recipient of a Young Investigator Award by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine.
He has authored scientific articles on neuroradiology topics in several medical journals, has contributed to a number of textbooks, and lectures both nationally and internationally.
