The Neurosciences Grand Rounds is a common platform to share best practices for new and emerging evidence-based neurological care and address current practice gaps. Each monthly presentation seeks to improve patient care by exposing the participants to the latest in diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of neurologic disorders. This month's presentation focuses on practice gaps related to nerve transfer surgery, namely, identification and symptom management.

After completion of this course, learners will demonstrate the following competencies related to Nerve Transfer Surgery:
• Discuss how nerve transfer surgery differs from nerve repair surgery
• Evaluate how nerve transfer surgery opens the door for treatment of nerve pathologies beyond traditional nerve injuries
• Interpret the role of nerve transfer surgery in the management of Parsonage-Turner syndrome
• Interpret the role of nerve transfer surgery in the management of cervical spinal cord injury
