Thomas Wilson, MD, MPH
Dr. Thomas Wilson is currently Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University. He obtained his MD from the University of Nebraska. He completed a residency in neurosurgery at the University of Michigan and then went on to complete a fellowship in peripheral nerve surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He holds an MPH degree from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. His clinical subspecialty is peripheral nerve surgery, treating the gamut of peripheral nerve pathologies, including entrapment, nerve tumors, nerve injuries, non-traditional nerve injuries, nerve pain, and spasticity. His research interests include novel imaging techniques for improving diagnosis of several peripheral nerve pathologies and he is currently the primary investigator on several ongoing clinical trials at Stanford.
