Session Description: 

In this bi-monthly conference current evidence-based guidelines and recommendations for complex cardiovascular cases are reviewed, with an emphasis on patients who are in the cardiac catherization lab. Complex patient case studies and associated catherization lab findings are presented and discussed. Images are shared with discussion around interventions, treatment plans, and shared learning.

Learning Objectives: 

By the end of this series, participants will be able to:

1. Apply evidence-based practice guidelines and best practice recommendations shared through these conferences.

2. Integrate knowledge of new and emerging technologies in general and interventional cardiology.

3. Discuss strategies to identify implicit bias and better manage special patient populations such as those with racial/ethnic differences, gender differences, and substance abuse disorders.
