Series Description: 

In this bi-monthly conference, we review current evidence-based guidelines and recommendations for complex cardiovascular cases, with a focus on patients in the cardiac catheterization lab. We present and discuss complex patient case studies along with associated catheterization lab findings. Images are shared to facilitate discussions on interventions, treatment plans, and shared learning.

Learning Objectives: 

By the end of this activity, participants should be able to:

1. Apply evidence-based practice guidelines and best practice recommendations shared through these conferences.

2. Integrate knowledge of new and emerging technologies in general and interventional cardiology.

3. Discuss strategies to identify implicit bias and better manage special patient populations such as those with racial/ethnic differences, gender differences, and substance abuse disorders.
