Trisha Hart, PT Assistant, CMT, CLT, CYT
I am a Physical Therapist Assistant at Sutter Solano Medical Center as well as a Sutter Safe Care Champion. I began my time at SSMC as a temporary therapist for 2 years then transitioned to employee in 2016. I have experience working in home health physical therapy skilled nursing facilities, and various outpatient clinics. I am a certified lymphedema therapist trained in complete decongestive therapy technique. I also bring with me 20 years of experience as a certified yoga instructor, certified massage therapist, and Barefoot Shiatsu instructor. My background education is in Liberal Studies with a focus in Eastern Religion and Medical Anthropology. I use this broad range of expertise to my role here at SSMC, focusing on interdepartmental collaboration and education to improve hospital systems and procedure. I am currently one of the lead advocates for developing a culture of Psychological Safety with a hope of shifting the leadership perspective to develop reliable shared decision making and to educate the frontline workers that they have the best insights and input into creating safe and efficient hospital systems. Advocating for Psychological Safety means advocating for a safe work environment with frontline staff developing safe practices with the support of leadership. Outside of my role at work, I am perpetually curious, research a wide variety of subjects, play clarinet and guitar, and enjoy a collaborative environment for both work and play.
