Anisa Abu-Ramaileh, PharmD, BCPS is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Anisa received her undergraduate training and Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She completed a pharmacy practice residency followed by a specialty residency in infectious diseases at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Anisa is involved in the acute care management of complex medical and surgical patients, including liver and kidney transplant patients. She also remains involved with clinical management and research with several specialty teams, including infectious diseases, emergency medicine, cardiomyopathy, and the mechanical circulatory support team. She is currently a preceptor for student pharmacists and residents and involved with didactic teaching of pharmacy, medical, nursing and physician assistant students at several institutions including the University of Southern California and the University of Utah. She remains an active member in several pharmacy and medical organizations, including international medical initiatives to promote global health equity.
