Debbie Nereson, Masters of Communication
Debbie Nereson is a Learning Development Consultant with Sutter Health University and has been a part of the Sutter Health team since August 2013. She has spent the last 17 years designing and delivering engaging leadership programs. Her current areas of focus are Signature Series Programs: Sutter Certified Leader 1 and 2 and the Consultant Development Track, supporting Sutter Certified Nurse Leader 1, as well as delivering Leadership courses across the system.
Prior to joining Sutter, she spent 8 years at Dignity Medical Foundation in various roles; including leading a team of Learning and Development professionals, as well as being the lead trainer in rolling out the organization’s EHR for the Medical Foundation.
She received her Master of Arts in Communication Studies from Chico State University where her main area of study was leadership and motivation. Debbie also teaches Public Speaking and Small Group Communication courses at Sierra College.
Debbie lives in Roseville, CA with her husband and her two sons Jacob (16) and Max (13). Her free time is spent supporting the boys’ sports (there are a lot!), working out, reading, hiking, camping, listening to podcasts and spending quality time with close friends and family.
