Responsible for nutrition assessment of high-risk perinatal patients (GDM, multiple gestation, high
maternal weight gain, post bariatric bypass) to best provide care plans which include nutrition therapy and nutrition education. Serving as a “Super User” for EPIC (electronic medical record system). Program lead with respect to compliance with AADE accreditation and standards. Provide practical nutrition education to rotating medical and nursing students.

Primarily responsible for nutritional assessment and counseling of low income pregnant and breastfeeding women and young children of diverse ethnic/cultural backgrounds. Other duties include assisting with client intake, organization of the clinic and development of nutrition education programs for WIC participants and their families.

nutrition and exercise education during pregnancy and the early postpartum period has an impact on postpartum weight loss
- Nutrition presentations to community programs such as the Pilipino Bayanihan Resource Center and the Filipino Community Cancer Collaborative

- Produced a Container Gardening Resource Guide currently distributed to Food Security Network awardees
