Dr. Humphreys earned her Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from University of Washington and Master of Health Administration (MHA) from University of Cincinnati. She is also a Board-Certified Biologics and Biosimilar Specialist (BCBBS). She works at Sutter Health System as the System Director for formulary management and pharmacy clinical programs. She is also the Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy and a joint faculty at California Northstate University, College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Humphreys has more than 20 years of specialized experience in the pharmaceutical industry, involving for-profit and non-profit organizations. This includes expertise in all aspects of clinical practice for acute, ambulatory, and long-term care pharmacies, formulary management, medication utilization management, healthcare outcome research, and contracting negotiation. She is also an expert in pharmacoeconomic analysis, contract negotiation, healthcare outcome research. She published multiple articles in the field of Pharmacy and Healthcare Management, oncology support care, successful biosimilar adoption programs in large Integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems and Federal and State regulation regarding biosimilars in the US. She is a frequent speaker for national conferences regarding pharmaceutical care.
