Leilanie is a transformational behavioral health nurse executive with more than 20 years of progressive leadership across hospital operations, Magnet designation, regulatory readiness, and workforce development. She currently serves as the Director of Nursing Services at Sutter Center for Psychiatry, where she oversees inpatient and interventional psychiatry services and partners with executive leadership to advance clinical excellence, safety, and staff engagement.

 A PhD-prepared researcher and published author, she has presented nationally on evidence-based practice, violence prevention, and workforce engagement. She is known for building high-performing teams, elevating nursing practice, and creating cultures where staff feel valued, empowered, and able to deliver exceptional care.
