I have over seven years of experience in surgical nursing. I discovered my passion for perioperative nursing during my senior preceptorship in the main OR at UC Davis Medical Center. After completing my BSN at California State University, Sacramento I was hired as a new graduate nurse to the main OR at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento where I successfully completed the AORN PeriOp 101 program. I have since completed graduate school and worked as both a clinical educator and perioperative manager.
