Pamela Estes, JD and various certificates
Pamela Estes has worked for the San Mateo County Human Trafficking Program since January, 2018, and currently holds the position of Program Coordinator. Her professional journey is anchored by law licenses in the states of California, Massachusetts, and Texas, complemented by training dedicated to the complexities of human trafficking which includes her certifications as both a Human Trafficking Caseworker and a Sexual Assault Counselor. Preceding her tenure in the Program, she co-founded an impactful anti-trafficking awareness initiative, demonstrating her commitment to combating this pervasive issue. She was recognized for her contributions receiving the 2017 Freedom Fighter Award from the Bay Area Anti-Trafficking Coalition, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Commendation in 2019 for her work in the Human Trafficking Program and victim advocacy, and the 2024 Modern-Day Abolitionist Award for Outstanding Collaboration from the San Francisco Collaborative to End Human Trafficking.
