Lisa has been a nurse for 41 years, starting at Eden in 1982.  She started the diabetes education program in 1987 and has lived with type 1 diabetes for over 50 years.  She works as Diabetes Education Manager for inpatient and outpatient diabetes.  She designed fabric for an international fabric company and has written quilting books during her career and now enjoys being a grandma and spending time traveling when she is not working.
