Cathy has been a registered for 37 years with experience in both the acute and ambulatory care settings. Cathy has been with Sutter Health for 14+ years.  She began her career at the University of California, Irvine in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit.  She worked at the bedside for 15 years and then transitioned to the Nurse Educator for the NICU.   After several years, she took the manager position of the NICU.  She continued to work in the manager position until 2015 at which time she moved from the acute setting to ambulatory.  In the ambulatory setting, she took on the role of the Director of Quality, Risk, Patient Safety and Nursing Professional Practice.  In her current role, she is the Director of Clinical Practice, Education and Development for Sutter Ambulatory Care Settings.
