0240_SMBF_Preceptor Workshop_Live - 8/28/24 Class
Despite the growing need for ambulatory healthcare employees, many clinical new hires are not being adequately precepted into the healthcare setting. This results in employee lack of confidence and high employee turnover. Therefore, a clinical preceptor should be available to mentor clinical staff in the ambulatory setting. This virtual CE course convenes expert ambulatory nurse/clinical educators to teach evidence-based preceptor skills in a workshop format thus promoting improved patient outcomes, preceptor professional development, employee retention, and increased job satisfaction.
