Jean Minton
Jean joined Sutter’s West Bay Region Strategy and Business Development team in 2011, where her first Neuroscience assignment was to partner with the philanthropy team to develop the business plan and secure the donation for the CPMC Ray Dolby Brain Health Center. From 2017-2020, she served as the Valley Neuroscience Service Line Executive. She collaborated with the Sutter Neuroscience Institute Team and stroke experts from across the Valley to develop the Valley Area Stroke Certification Plan which eventually led to SRMC becoming Thrombectomy Capable Joint Commission Certified and Sutter Medical Center Sacramento (SMCS) becoming the first Comprehensive Stroke Certified Center in the Sutter System. In 2020, the Service Lines evolved from an Area structure to a System structure and Jean led the creation of the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service Line working with teams from across the system to develop a vision for the service line along with supporting strategies and a governance structure. Jean rejoined the Neuroscience team as the System Neuroscience Service Line Executive in November 2022 and lead the team that partnered with CPMC to transition the telestroke program to the system and is currently working to expand Neuroscience Virtual Care Services and ensure broad access to Advanced Therapeutics for Alzheimer’s Disease. Jean holds a Bachelor of Science from Duke University and a Masters in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business.
