Roma is a practicing clinical pharmacist since graduating pharmacy school from the University of the Pacific in 2012. She completed her PGY1 residency at San Joaquin General Hospital in French Camp, CA in 2013 and has been working as a transitions of care clinical pharmacist at Sutter Health since 2015. In 2015, she helped start and grow the transitions of care pharmacy program at Eden Medical Center which went on to win Sutter Health's president award in January 2020 and have its work published in the April 2020 issue of the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy (AJHP). In early 2022, Roma transitioned to a regional bay area role to help grow pharmacy transitions of care throughout Sutter bay hospitals. As a clinical pharmacist, Roma has also been precepting pharmacy students and residents that rotate through Sutter bay hospitals over the years and has been put in charge of overseeing the pharmacy residents' twice annual health fairs.
