Brandon Wiley, MD, FACC, FASE, FCCM
Brandon M. Wiley is the Chief of Cardiology and Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Los Angeles General Medical Center and Associate Professor of Medicine at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Prior his transition to LA General, he was Associate Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, Director of Point-of-Care Ultrasound and Consultant in Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He completed Internal Medicine Residency at University of California (San Francisco), Cardiology Fellowship (Academic Track) with advanced training in echocardiography at Mount Sinai Hospital (New York), and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (Maryland). He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Echocardiography. His clinical practice includes cardiac intensive care and interventional echocardiography. He is a Fellow of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography. He is the Vice-Chair of the SCCM Critical Care Ultrasound committee. His research has focused on the use of echocardiography and point-of-care ultrasound in the cardiac intensive care unit.
