Russell Metcalfe-Smith is the Executive Director of Simulation and Interprofessional Education for Cedars-Sinai Health System. In addition Russell holds an academic appointment as Associate Professor, Department of Surgery, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. In addition to leading simulation both in the UK and for the past decade in the USA Russell spent 10 years working as Head of Resuscitation for a teaching hospital in London, United Kingdom. Russell brings 20 years of clinical experience, as both a Paramedic and a Resuscitation Officer dealing with cardiac arrest in both in the in-hospital and out-of-hospital environment. Russell has many years of experience educating clinicians in various aspects of immediate medical care and bring a UK perspective of cardiac arrest management.
