Priscilla Woo, Pharm.D.
Dr. Priscilla Woo is a clinical pharmacist at the Keck Hospital of USC. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 2005 and completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency in Acute Care at the USC University Hospital and LAC + USC Health Network. Following residency, Dr. Woo accepted a clinical pharmacist position in the Cardiothoracic Surgery ICU at Keck Hospital, where she has been working for the past 17 years. She has also staffed in the Abdominal Transplant ICU, Peri-op and Operating Room Services, Pulmonary Medical and Urology Telemetry Unit, Orthopedic Surgical Unit, Surgical Oncology ICU, and Acute Rehabilitation Unit. Currently, she specializes in managing and optimizing medication therapy for adult critically ill patients requiring mechanical circulatory support devices and/or advanced heart failure therapies.
In addition to direct patient-centered care, Dr. Woo has over 15 years of teaching experience. She precepts introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experience students from the USC Mann School of Pharmacy and is a mentor for the pharmacy intern program at Keck Hospital. Dr. Woo serves as the primary preceptor for the Cardiothoracic ICU rotation, where she plays an integral role in training and mentoring pharmacy residents.
