She received her PharmD and PhD in Pharmacology from University of Houston.  She practices as Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in a mixed medical surgical ICU.   Her research interests include GPCR signaling and refractory shock.  She currently serves as the secretary of the SCCM Southern California Chapter.
