0987_Integrating MNT in Modern Obesity Care: Evidence Based Strategies for Patients on Anit-Obesity Medications and After Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery_Live

June 19, 2026

Description:

This Grand Rounds presentation will highlight the essential role of medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and registered dietitians in supporting patients on Nutrition stimulated hormone receptor agonist therapy or NuSH RA (commonly known as GLP-1 receptor agonists or GLP-1 RA) and following bariatric surgery, emphasizing practical, evidence-based nutrition strategies for long-term weight management. This topic is especially timely given the rapid growth of NuSH RA use and evolving obesity treatments. The presentation will also cover NuSH RA therapy, outcomes, and emerging growth, and how these advances can support patient care. Providers will gain actionable tools and insights to improve outcomes and deliver more coordinated, effective care.
