Description: 

This educational meeting brings together primary care physicians and specialty providers to advance evidence-based weight management care and strengthen collaboration between primary and specialty care teams. Through didactic sessions, panel discussions, and case-based dialogue, participants will learn to improve patient care across the primary-to-specialty referral pathway by establishing clear referral criteria and co-management practices. The conference will also help attendees understand the clinical, systemic, and patient-level barriers in obesity care, equipping primary care physicians and specialists alike to design more realistic, coordinated approaches to treatment.
