0522_ABSMC_Journal Club: Blood Biomarkers to Improve the Accuracy of Alzheimer Disease Diagnosis_Live

February 10, 2025

Description:

Staying abreast of current guidelines and evidence-based practices to improve the quality of care is an important component of optimizing patient outcomes. Journal Club is an opportunity for the primary care team to learn about the newest and most recent developments in the sub-specialty clinical space. One in five women and one in ten men develop dementia due to Alzheimer disease. Symptomatic Alzheimer disease is misdiagnosed in 25% to 35% of patients treated at specialized clinics and likely even more patients treated in primary care. January's session will dive deeper into blood biomarkers to possibly improve the accuracy of Alzheimer disease diagnosis.
