Principles & Practice of Clinician Leadership 1 offers hands-on, practical skill development for new front-line physician and advanced practice clinician (APC) leaders. This program develops the foundational skills and mindset that are essential to effective leadership of interprofessional teams and working groups with a focus that includes evidence-based approaches to promote communication, collaboration, team cohesiveness, and change management.

After completing this course, learners should be able to:
- Discuss the characteristics of the Growth Mindset.
- Associate the importance of clinician leadership at Sutter Health with our key results, values, and culture.

- Identify 3 critical leadership skills to be included on your Individualized Learning Plan.
