0404_Sutter Neurosciences Grand Rounds_Paraneoplastic Syndromes_Live
Description:
Paraneoplastic syndromes are rare, and management of these syndromes is very challenging. Clinicians must recognize these syndromes to promptly diagnose the occurrence and improve patient clinical outcomes. This entails a complex patient workup which is best managed by an interprofessional healthcare team all working off the same detailed information in the patient medical record. This lecture serves to illustrate the evaluation and need for early recognition of one such syndrome, Encephalitis. It focuses on the clinical diagnosis and systemic approach to managing treatments of the neurological disorder.
Target Audience
