0385_Sutter Neurosciences Grand Rounds_Neurosarcoidosis Diagnosis and Treatment Updates_Live
Description:
Neurologic complications occur in approximately 5 to 10 percent of patients with sarcoidosis. Neurosarcoidosis is a diagnostic consideration in patients with known sarcoidosis who develop neurologic complaints and in patients presenting de novo with a constellation of findings consistent with the disease. Neurosarcoidosis may be asymptomatic but can be life-threatening and tends to occur in cases with systemic involvement. This lecture will address the proper diagnosis of this condition, interpret treatment plans, and better understand immunosuppression and multimodal symptom management and neurorehabilitation to promote recovery.
Target Audience
Physicians (MD or DO)
Other licensed healthcare team members
