Description:
A faculty development course designed to prepare current and prospective faculty member of the key tenets of beside teaching. The course will cover how to teach in small increments of time during patient care through targeting then teaching. Faculty members will be able to determine what an individual learner needs to know, and how to focus on teaching those needs, thus saving time. After this course faculty should be equipped with these tools: good questions and the ability to listen and observe inturn enhancing patient care.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this activity learners will be able to:
1. Reflect on and describe qualities of effective teaching in different time-limited venues and scenarios.
2. Identify strategies for efficient clinical teaching, including several commonly used frameworks.
3. Select and practice a teaching strategy for your personal use to refine and adapt for future teaching on the fly.
