Overview
Description:
Integrative oncology puts you at the center of the treatment plan. It makes you an active participant in your own care, from prevention through diagnosis, throughout treatment and into survivorship. Complementary or alternative medicine topics are of substantial interest to patients with cancer. Integrative oncology pairs evidence-based complementary therapies with traditional care, taking into consideration each patient's values and priorities. This lecture will cover the approaches of integrative oncology within the healthcare setting.
