Description:
Staying abreast of current guidelines and evidence-based practices to improve the quality of care is an important component of optimizing patient outcomes. Journal Club is an opportunity for the primary care team to learn about the newest and most recent developments in the sub-specialty clinical space. May's session will focus on three peer-reviewed journal articles that dive into acupuncture as a form of nonpharmacologic management for pain and vasomotor symptoms.

1. Evaluate the feasibility of acupuncture for pain and nausea in ICU patients
2. Determine if Acupuncture can act as a nonpharmacologic pain management for AI induced arthralgia
3. Compare acupuncture and drug therapy efficacy as therapy for vasomotor syndromes
