Description:
Discharge dilemmas can cause significant distress among providers. There can be risks and potential for harm if the patient is allowed to go before being medically stabilized. This webinar will discuss the difference between a patient leaving against medical advice and elopement. This session will review a challenging case to provide reflection on and guidance on how to fulfill obligations in such a situation.
