Fatigue

0278_PAMF_ME/CFS Essentials for the Primary Care Physician_Live

June 28, 2024

Description:

This presentation will give a generalist approach on how to diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients with myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/ CFS). Many recent studies indicate that there is a significant overlap between ME/CFS and post-COVID syndrome, demonstrating that as many as half of the patients researched with post-COVID syndrome met the criteria for MS/CFS. This event will cover the most distinct symptoms associated with ME/CFS, differences between encountering the disease in isolation versus with 1 of many comorbid conditions, physical examination, patient counseling, and proper treatment.
