Description:
The effect of burnout amongst physicians has been shown in some studies to have a significant relationship with observed adverse patient outcomes. Prevention of disease, including mental health disorders, is a preferred healthcare strategy. This presentation focuses on how mental health is a critical aspect of whole-person health and provides strategies that can promote personal resilience and prevent burnout.
