Description:
There is an identified professional practice gap related to a lack of knowledge and training among providers on best practices in treating patients diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. This course will provide an overview of patient-centered approaches and recovery oriented best practices for patients living with borderline personality disorder.

Learning Objectives
After completion of this activity, learners will be able to:
1. Question the ways in which patients with BPD have been underserved in healthcare and awaken to advocacy opportunities to promote improved health equity.
2. Design comprehensive and patient-centered management plans to meet the recovery needs of patients living with BPD.
3. Describe clinical strategies for adjunctive, off-label, and rational pharmacological treatment of BPD.
