Description:
There is a general lack of knowledge and understanding of best practices in geriatric psychiatry among providers in mental health and addiction care due to limited training opportunities specific to relevant considerations in older adult populations. This presentation will provide an overview of these best practices for treating mental disorders in the older adult including recommendations for medication management in this population.
