Description:
This presentation gives neurologists and neurosurgeons an opportunity to stay up to date on the latest advances and best practice recommendations in neurological care for Alzheimer's Treatment. This also is a forum for neurologists and neurosurgeons to come together to discuss complex or rare patient cases involving Alzheimer's Treatment and share various expertise so as to make informed decision on the patient's treatment plan.

Learning Objectives
After completion of this course, learners will demonstrate the following competencies related to Alzheimer's Disease. Ability to:
• Review Alzheimer’s disease pathophysiology and results from the recent phase III lecanemab trial, CLARITY-AD.
• Discuss incidence, etiology, and management of amyloid related imaging abnormalities (ARIA).
• Apply best practice guidelines for work up and use considerations of lecanemab in the clinic, including potential for and management of adverse events or alternative treatments.
• Discuss deployment considerations of Anti-Amyloid Monoclonal Antibody Treatment within the Sutter system.
