Course Description:
The clinical leadership excellence program as a whole is implemented to provide new and existing physician leaders with skills and strategies needed to succeed in their roles using the 4 E’s of Exploration, Education, Exposure, and Experience. This series of 90-minute modules, occurring approximately once a month throughout the year for a total of 13 sessions, includes pre-work before each module and case-based discussions to promote active learning strategies.
The program also includes a special focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with the principles of DEI integrated into all modules where leaders can identify, describe, and demonstrate inclusive behaviors.
This module addresses leaders lack of knowledge in PAFMG’s onboarding process and their leadership expectation of a role with regard to onboarding and mentoring new clinicians into the medical group. Further, it provides an opportunity to discuss how mentoring might be utilized as a solution to improve DEI within our organization.

Learning Objectives
After completion of this session, learners should be able to:
1. Demonstrate ability to oversee the onboarding and mentoring of new clinicians so that new they have a consistent and welcoming experience as they join the organization.
2. Discuss how mentorship can be utilized as a solution for Improving Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within an organization.
