There has been an increase in ethics consultations involving pediatrics. These ethic consultations include unique situations involving identification of, and conflict between parents, pediatric rights etc. Through the Continuum of Development: Guiding Ethical Decision Making in Pediatrics was designed to provide strategies and best practices to ensure ethical decision making in complex pediatric patient situations.
