Course Description:
With everything more accessible on mobile devices, many patients have concerns about the security of their personal health information which could become a barrier to improved efficiencies and decision-making in diabetes management through convenient access to their personal data. This presentation focuses on cybersecurity for diabetes management devices as well as what the U.S. government is doing to help mitigate risks and protect from security breaches in order to increase patient compliance with the new technology.
