Description:
Asthma represents a heterogenous disorder with broad-ranging impact on patients and health systems. The Asthma Symposium is an annual update on the integrated care of the asthma patient. This symposium is intended for physicians, nurses, advanced care providers, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, medical assistants, and asthma educators, to gain knowledge and competence on timely diagnosis, correct risk stratification appropriate therapy, education interventions, and promotion of respiratory health.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this program, care team members will be able to:

- Apply the appropriate step therapy based on the assessed severity and level of control.
- Identify potential candidates for biologic agents.
- Discuss the latest updates in treatment and management of pediatric asthma utilizing evidence-based best practices for treatment.
- Summarize strategies to advocate for general city plans that will have upstream health impacts for local communities.
