Course Description:
Alcohol Use Disorder is a medical condition, of varying severity, characterized by an impaired ability to stop or control alcohol use. This presentation will review several aspects of unhealthy drinking including epidemiology, mechanisms and effects, assessment and diagnosis, treatment, and strategies to manage withdrawal.
