Series date:
08/23/2024 - 11:45am PDT to 08/22/2025 - 1:30pm PDT

Description:

Each session of this RSS reviews on average 4-5 challenging or unique cases who are presented by the providers involved complete with relevant labs, diagnostic imaging, history, and other relevant considerations. In a roundtable discussion, the team is able to clarify any additional diagnostic testing necessary, come to a consensus on the most likely diagnoses/differential diagnoses, and review best practice management for each patient. Many cases are also well-suited for general discussion about emerging evidence for improved approaches to neurological disease and the relevant cultural, ethnic, or age-related considerations. This case-based discussion helps to further our competence and team performance in managing challenging cases and providing culturally appropriate care that is free from the impact of implicit biases.
