Description
The department of anesthesiology aims to improve patient care by discussing challenging cases at a quarterly anesthesiology case conference. Through these discussions, we plan to review current literature and guidelines. By pooling our collective experience, we hope to learn from each other as well.

Learning Objectives:
After attending this activity learners should be able to:
1. Engage in professional collaboration during review of difficult and unique patient cases in order gain consensus and achieve an informed decision on the ideal treatment plan for each patient.
2. Review evidence related to the social determinants of health and the impact of implicit biases in anesthesiology care in order to support culturally appropriate care that is free from differential outcomes related to unconscious biases.
3. Discuss educational content surrounding emerging topics relevant to the anesthesiology space, including changes or updates in anesthesiology guidelines.
