Session Description:
Case conferences have been shown to help team members address knowledge deficiencies, share information and improve patient care. This multispecialty neuroscience meeting is a forum for reviewing clinical cases, lab results, imaging findings, and/or response to treatments of complex cases and rare diagnoses from each quarter. Discussion allows clinicians to review updated best practice treatment guidelines, diagnostic techniques and collaboratively problem-solve complex cases as a department and community.
Target Audience:
Physicians (MD or DO)
Learning Objectives:
After Attending this Activity, Learners Should be Able to:
-Analyze up-to-date treatment approaches for the neurological diseases represented in cases provided.
-Specify and appraise imaging findings and other diagnostic modalities to both expedite and improve care for various neurologic conditions.
- Apply to practice new guidelines, scientific evidence, and best practice recommendations shared through these conferences.
