Description:

Cardiovascular disease is a complex condition which has a mortality and is associated with high hospital readmission rate. Current guidelines recommend case conferencing with the interprofessional and specialist teams to improve evidence-based care for cardiac patients. In this bimonthly patient care conference, cardiac nuclear medicine case studies, associated images, and findings are presented and collaboratively discussed. Current evidence-based guidelines for patient management are reviewed and recent research is shared and considered for implementation.
