With more than 25 years of experience supporting children, families, and caregivers, I have dedicated my career to providing compassionate guidance, education, and advocacy across every stage of life. My professional journey began in early childhood education, where I served as a preschool director and earned a degree and certification in Early Childhood Education and Administration. This foundation sparked a lifelong passion for empowering families with the knowledge and resources they need to thrive.

After earning both my Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from California State University, Chico, I transitioned into medical social work in 2012. I completed my postgraduate internship with Hospice at SCAH Yuba City in 2011 and joined the organization as a Medical Social Worker upon graduation. In 2013, I transitioned to SCAH Home Health, where I continue to support patients and families as they navigate complex medical conditions and life transitions.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with families in hospice care, the Children's Bereavement Program, and home health services. From supporting caregivers of young children to assisting those caring for loved ones in the final stages of life, I am committed to providing education, emotional support, and access to meaningful resources that strengthen caregivers and improve quality of life.

My professional experience is complemented by my personal journey as a caregiver for a critically ill parent through the end of life. This firsthand experience has deepened my empathy and gives me a unique perspective that allows me to connect with caregivers in an authentic and meaningful way.

I am passionate about empowering families through education, compassionate care, and advocacy. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, attending local festivals, and exploring the outdoors.
